Traveller Steamer

The Traveller Steamer is the first ever fold flat, completely portable hay steamer that will accommodate 8kg-10kg of either loose hay or filled haynet. Made from heavy duty rip proof composite, thermal properties material. The stay clean hygienic steam bag is easy and simple to use.

This system has been a popular steamer since we introduced it in 2006 either as an add on to those who are steaming regularly on the yard and compete away and wish to maintain the same diet and feeding regime. The Traveller is also ideal solution for the one horse owner.

This system is also an ideal solution for people who do not have power available on the yard, allowing them to take the hay home for steaming and returning it for feeding without mess all over the vehicle with the hay contained in its own carrier. The Traveller Steamer will also run off a 3kva portable power generator if required.

The steam is introduced by a way of a specially designed steam diffuser that is fixed in the bottom of the bag, so the hay is steamed from the bottom and through the center purging the hay from the middle outwards and upwards, a method that is necessary for steaming hay within a confined space and effectively removing fungal spores, mites and bacteria from the hay. Steam is supplied from a robust steam generator with easy to see water level indicator and other features.
